  • So What Is it...

With people that have to gun all the way to the stop sign and make it look like they don't feel like stopping?

Oooh, I hate that. And around here, they don't stop until they're halfway into the crosswalk, so you have no clue if they're going to run the sign/light until the last possible second. Drives me nuts.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. They go full stop and then at the last minute hit the brakes. So of course, I have to slow down because I don't know if they are really going to stop or just make a Michigan stop.

Probably the same reason that pretty much everything in Michigan that's covered with concrete or gravel is a "passing lane": It's just understood.

I love those people, and also the ones who inch and inch and inch, more and more and more into the intersection. Not sure whether they are just being idiots like my dad who think every stop light is tripped by sensors, or if they really just want that head start and can't wait for that light to turn green.

I have seen people almost halfway into the intersection before the light even turns green, they have scooted so far up ahead the entire red light.

Sadly, that's considered more or less "normal" here >_<
