Who knows why he did this? It doesn't make any sense.
Because now he's in front, he's more important than you. I know, daft, isn't it?

But I've never seen a mosquito that big.
I guess I'm just inured to them, having grown up in NOLA (tho I live in the "greater NO area" now, so to speak). I go into Da City when required, and seldom otherwise.

Just so ya know...the cockroaches come in super-deluxe jumbo size, as well. The bigger ones are capable of flight. The biggest I've seen in person was the size of my hand (...and I'm six foot four...), we allegedly have some as long as two feet, but I've never heard of anyone spotting one quite that huge. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if they DO exist, however.

On a more pleasant tangent -- for a similar reason, it wasn't until I was a teenager or so (I think) that I fully understood the correlation between the word "shrimp" and "something really small" -- When I think of a shrimp, I think of a crustacean as big as my entire thumb that comes a dozen to a pound, not some teeny little thing you can barely see

My cat regularly catches the roaches. I found one once in my shoe because she thought it would be amusing to try to get it out of the tight spot lol. She's so proud of herself when she catches them. I think they're nasty. Least she kills them for me.
