It's that time of year, warm weather and
cyclists are out again. Today's almost Darwin candidate, Mr. Red light runner. The intersection is for the entrance to one of the shopping plazas in town. It is four lanes. A right turn only to enter the plaza and a straight in one direction and a left only and straight in the other direction.
As the light turns red and the stupid cyclist is riding along the curb near the right turn to enter the plaza. They see this, and move between me (going straight) and the people waiting to turn right. Then he just pedals thru the red not even looking and is almost smacked by a city bus exiting the plaza. The bus stopped maybe 4 feet from the cyclist, who promptly flipped the driver the bird and pedaled away.
Multiple cars slowed/honked as they passed they cyclist and presumably angry words were exchanged form driver to moron. It is a wonder how so few cyclists are severely injured or killed when so many pull their little stunts all the time.
