Ah, yes, the idiots who can't be arsed to just wait until they get where they're going and so try to make an extra lane out of what is just an extra wide single lane.
Now, in California, this is legal provided that there are no markers indicating that you are no longer in a driving lane, or signs stating that you cannot drive on the shoulder, or signs forbidding passing, or other such indications that it's not.
But I did get to witness one of these twats get her comeuppance. I posted about it, even.
Long story short: Slow van made an unexpected right and the impatient bitch who tried to cut around on the right smacked right into the side of it. The bitch hated me for staying, and the van driver was very thankful that I did.
