  • My car is totaled

The first day it snows my car gets totaled. It was parked, and I was sleeping in my room when I heard a boom. A lady hit my car and even managed to run my car into my mom's truck, squishing it. Turns out she had hit the car up the street and while trying to get away drove into my car. He was so young. He was my first car ever and I didnt even have him a year. My little red car is now being used for parts. I got a new to me car now, and it is white (nothing wrong with white, but I love the colour red). I'll never forget my first car, im sad.

Almost forgot to add that she destroyed my mailbox. AND this part always gets me: After she backs out of my car her husband came.

Her Husband to HER: Oh, look! I guess we'll need this.
He goes over to my smushed in car and takes the her car's brand logo out of it.
I was like why are you touching my car, you already ruined it now your touching it, besides the logo was IN my car so is therefore mine now, not yours.

My mother used to tell the story of how her father was looking out the window one day and said "Wow, somebody's car just got clobbered! Hey!! That's MY car!!!"

I don't know what happened after that. But it's a great story.

Sorry about your car. I'd be sad too. I get weirdly sentimental about inanimate objects.

It happened when she was trying to "get away" from another accident she caused? Hope she was caught, hope her car was equally totaled, hope she was arrested for hit-and-run and above all, I hope she had valid and plentiful insurance.

Same here. I've got photos of my first car, taken just before I traded it in ... and my second car ... and ... which reminds me, I don't have one of my current vehicle! Must rectify that.

Also took a series of photos of mom's van before we sold it.

The operative word here is "had" plentiful and valid insurance. I think after this she's going to be lucky to find a company that will insure her at all.

And I'm very sorry for the loss of your little red car. :-(

Her SUV had a few dents in the front, a broken light, and the side mirror fell off. Not enough damage I say. Once the cop came he was like "Yep, thats an accident" then left because of a 7 car accident. Lucky for me her insurance was good and I got more money then I expected. I managed to get a newer and safer car from all of this, but I shall always remember my first car.

Regardless of its condition, your first car will always be your first car. And the guy took its logo? What is he some sort of head hunter? Collecting the scalps of his kills?

From my understanding of the OP, the "can't drive in snow" person's car lost its manufacturer logo when it became imbedded in Redhead17's car, and they retrieved it. If they had been collecting a trophy from their "kill", they would have taken the license plate ("Car Wars", Steve Jackson Games).
Any fool can piss on the floor. It takes a talented SC to shit on the ceiling.

A few months late to the post but sorry about your car. My guest and one of my neighbors had damage to their cars when a drunk driver slammed into them at my condo complex. We ran outside when we heard the crash to find another neighbor who had been leaving in her car waiting for the police she had called. She told us her boyfriend was in the parking lot of the next condo unit down keeping an eye on drunk woman's car.

I walked down to see her car and the BF told me the woman had run into the condo building to hide. I can't believe she made it to a parking spot; her right front tire was spun 90 degrees to the direction it's supposed to face.

The police managed to extricate the woman from the building. I don't know how many charges she faced or what became of her but my friend/guest received a check from the woman's insurance company for the damage (I assume my neighbor did too, his car took the brunt of the damage).
You'll find a slight squeeze on the hooter an excellent safety precaution, Miss Scrumptious.
