Better than some lady complaining about how I put her thing of eye shadow (plastic casing) with plastic hangers. She was worried the casing of the eye shadow was gonna get scratched. She also bought laundry detergent and put the eye shadow in the bag of the detergent with the plastic hangers.

I've had customers who demand that I not put eggs/bread in their own bag, they want them with the watermelon/potatoes/something else heavy and insist it will be fine.

One day, manager P literally laughed at one of them when they stormed back into the store because...they threw their eggs in with everything else and when they grabbed the reusable bag by the handles the eggs shifted and got squished. She basically called them out and said "You didn't want [bagger] to touch anything, you said the eggs wouldn't break. I'm not giving you a freebie."

One of the many reasons I left the realm of retail in favor of running a laser welder. While I still get the odd slug of stupid, its usually not as rapid fire as it was at the grocery store.
