  • There is trickery afoot!

I know that my schedule has been a bit wonky lately making me nearly completely unaware of dates and days of the week but I know for sure that it has been awhile since Easter.

Early in my shift tonight I walked by a display of wine that had a misplaced bottle. No biggie. Take it back to the wine section to bring it home. But wait! There's another wine where the first one goes. Hmm..ok these are my two most popular wines. Not too weird. Go to take the 2nd bottle to its home. There is a different wine in that place! This went on for another ten different labels, all leading me to various points across the store. About halfway through I started cracking up and told my CW that there better be some chocolate at the end of this scavenger hunt.

Alas, there was none it actually ended with me coming up to the front register and the cashier there looking at me like I was insane. I just hope that somewhere in the store is a customer just trying not to laugh.

Oh man, that happens to me when I'm auditing movies, and to a lesser extent the stationery aisle. It's because the stockers don't want to take stuff to the back, so they just stick the overstock in an empty slot. Then when the stuff for the empty slot comes in, they have to put that somewhere else, and so on, and so forth. Drives me nuts to have to stop auditing and spend ten, fifteen minutes putting crap where it goes first.

I do the a lot with the comforters in our back aisle....one comforter coming in means that usually 10 need to be moved before everything is back in place....guess its too tough to read the item # which is printed right on the label
