So, today I worked at the thrift store. My usual Sunday.
I was dreading the thought of seeing She of the Cheap at the store, coming in and spending a couple of hours examining bargain items while her little girl got into everything and talked my ears off.
She didn't show.
One of the owners called during my shift, and explained that She of the Cheap came in last week (after giving me hell last Sunday), and that she (the owner) told her off!
Is that great, or what! The owners told She of the Cheap that she couldn't treat me that way, I work at the store as a favor to them, there's no reason why She of the Cheap should not give me the money she owes to the owners, etc.
Life can be SO good sometimes!
