I recently discovered a frothing passionate love for Dirty Chai. Ironically, every time I've ordered it EXCEPT for the first time, the barista asks me if I know what is in it. Because apparently people order it and really hate it.
    Me too!

Yes, I know what's in it. Yes, I still want it. It's great hot or cold.

Although at the coffee shop I just ask for chai latte with a shot of espresso, because it apparently makes some baristas uncomfortable to announce "I got a dirty chai here for Irv."

oooooooooooooooooo I might have to try that! That sounds good. I love the taste of chai. Does the coffee change that taste a lot?

        I really don't notice a difference.

Of course, if they asked "Do you guys have Cordura nylon with urethane waterproofing?", that would be understandable - it's a specialty fabric (used for backpacks and such) that's more likely to be available at an outdoors store than a fabric store.
Funny, someone did ask me for that yesterday! I had to ask if we carried it, and a coworker told the guy no, it's a specialty item.

But muslin, denim and satin are all very popular fabrics for quilts or clothing, and we're a big nationwide chain, so yes, we would have those, and all of which take up at least half an aisle.

I was at my bank the other day when a customer asked if he could open a savings account there. Um, this was a huge branch of a huge bank (the one with stagecoaches and horses). Really?
Had this type of thing enough times

Phone rings and we give the standard greeting:
"Thank you for calling <my pizza place> blah blah blah"
              Do you guys sell pizza?????
I'm lost without a paddle and headed up SH*T creek.

I've thought about making a dirty chai before, I have yet to actually try it. But it sounds delicious.

Yeah, the mocha one I can kind of understand, but I always ask about a drink before I try ordering it. But I guess not everyone does.

And yeah, I have absolutely NO problem explaining the difference between them. That's how you find new drinks after all
