  • We Can't Accept Returns for Items Not in Our System

    Yesterday, a customer came up to the service desk to return a few cleaning products. She didn't have a receipt so I asked for ID which she did give me.

    I found out that a couple of the items weren't in our system so they couldn't be returned. I let the customer know that and she said that she bought them from our company. I checked the shelf and I couldn't find the items let alone a tag. I went back up to the service desk to inform the customer of the situation.

    I did ask the customer which of our stores she bought the items from and she mentioned that she got it from one of our other stores. She did get money back from the item that we had in our system but she wanted to know why all of the items she returned weren't in our system. I informed her that not all of our stores carry the same items since the stores are different sizes. She said that didn't make sense.
