Make My brain go HUH?????

Arrived at a customers upstairs residence. The order had a CC. I have the customer sign the CC slip. They leave the total line blank so I ask them to fill in the order total on the total line.

They hand me back the slip and instead of the total they signed their name again.

Crap. That invalidates the CC slip, doesn't it?

I've done the opposite and put the total on the signature line since there wasn't a separate line for the total, just a blank space.
