I had a guy yank my ponytail once to get my attention, because he thought it was hilarious. The death glare and abrupt setdown I gave him (extra surprising considering how timid I am, and he knew this) got the message across that it wasn't funny. He never did it again, but that might have been because I stayed away from him after that.

Intentional, unsolicited physical contact Assault is a crime, and I think that would be a fair boundary to set.

The word "assault" carries different interpretations in different jurisdictions (for example, many jurisdictions define assault as a verbal threat, and battery as physical contact), but unwanted physical contact is a crime pretty much everywhere.

Unfortunately, he wasn't banned. He came in a couple of days ago apparently, as did the girl that I was disconnecting. She was still talking about it to people.

And there does indeed have to be a lot of fail in your life to be kicked out.
