Why can't you not get a hold of someone on Easter?

My idiot ex-boyfriend always tried to let my cats out. He claimed I was "over-protective" and needed to let them be free. I live a block off a *really* busy street, and my yard has sand fleas. My little girl kitty was hit by a car (that's how I ended up adopting her), and is absoluty terrified of cars, and my tom kitty would rather hang out next to where ever I'm at. As I write this he's chillin' at my feet.
