Ultimately everyone wants something for nothing. I work for Staples and what happens is we have a $50 minimum for free delivery. Someone comes in and buys a case of paper and some pens to just make it. And has us deliver both....... when they are driving a freakin crown victoria. empty. It's just because it is free. What people need to know like with buddy and his garlic bread is spending $8 to get $2 garlic bread doesn't mean you are good @ saving money, or are being thrifty.

It means You an F**kin moron.

Get over yourself. Nothing is free. Deal with it. Move on.

    Now, I'll shut up.
90% of the people complain because of the 10% that ruined your day........

Now you know how companies make extra money . . . they dangle the carrot of free shipping in front of you while holding the big stick of spending money on stuff you don't need or want. Most people don't understand their own finances anyway, so it looks like a good deal, why not spend twice as much to get something free?

I keep an extensive wishlist for other people (and for me too! not at all hard to do) at Amazon, and if I'm $5 away from Super Saver shipping, I'll indulge in a book or a cd . . . but usually I'll save my pennies and put in a large enough Yule or birthday gift order that I get free shipping anyway.

Many companies depend on people not paying attention to detail. That's where the profit margin gets expanded.
