I think you get the rudeness from SCs because when they see you in your official company togs (whatever that consists of) you are magically transformed from human being into corporate robot. You don't have to rest, eat, drink, pee, or think about something else that doesn't numb your brain cells. You exist solely to wait on customers endlessly and without question.

With fellow employees though, there's usually no excuse. The only time I've ever made exceptions was if the employee asking for help was genuinely swamped and also wasn't a dickwad. Most of the time, neither exception applied
