    That's not impossible, though I think it's more the coworker throwing their weight around. I really hope the boss rips them a new one.

        If there is an HR department, that is. First place I worked was a local pizza restaurant with only two locations. The "HR Department" was the owner's wife. Fortunately, most of the problems that came up could be solved by just scheduling one person to work different shift schedules. I guess I was lucky we never had the kind of power trip co-workers like the OP is having to deal with.

        Sure had our share of SCs, though, many of which tried to scam free food from us.
