Iced coffee, only instead of ice, I use a frozen banana. Good way to get some richness into the beverage without cream, and I sneak in an extra fruit serving.
I am intrigued by how this works. Does the banana become mushy and you stir it in? Do you eat a coffee flavored banana? Use an immersion blender?

Not sure I'd *want* some Joe dipping his banana in my java just for the extra richness...

Your comments reminds me of another gross incident when I caught some crazy guest spitting snot in the coffee pot! would I know which one he was I would've reported it to the police. But he ran away when I yelled at him. Nasty POS.

Sorry, didn't make that clear. We let bananas ripen and then peel, slice and freeze them. To make the iced coffee, use a blender to combine milk, cold coffee, and sweetener of choice. Just add the frozen pieces instead of ice. You can't taste the banana much once it's blended.

Oh, yum! Sounds like how I make smoothies, just adding the coffee. Thank you!

My great aunt used to make extra strong coffee and pour it into an ice cube tray once cooled.. Voila! Ice coffee with no dilution.

I've done that with iced tea. then put said tea cubes into the iced tea

Frozen bananas are so versatile , you can even make ice cream out of them
