  • Stupid customer of the week...

Customer comes in with a Treo700W (Windows based Palm Pilot phone). Stating he needs the sync cable, software, battery, charger, and anything else that comes in the box (can you say stolen phone bought though eBay?).

The customer claims he sent it all back with his defective unit (never the pratice) and customer service only sent him the box with the phone in it (uh-huh).

We get the cables, charger, and a battery, but we do not have the software. No problem, I tell him he can get the software though our company's website, www.activesync.com or www.windowsmobile.com but the customer says that is not good enough.

Back and fourth, customer is putting up a stink because apparently we won't help him (sure, giving him a free sync cable, charger and battery isn't??). he then says the best line:

    "I can't download the software because I don't have a computer!"

WHAT THE HELL DO YOU NEED THE SOFTWARE THEN???

(By the way, these are meant to be a companion to your computer, not a replacement).

    Sometimes I just want to

Maybe he wanted to sync his palm pilot with his brain . . .

However, I don't think there's a cable that's compatible with the port in his arse.

Did he ask for an MP3 player while he was at it?

Oh Good Lord, I could make a joke involving certain pharamaceuticals used to treat certain male problems, but I won't.

          What a twatwaffle.

Perhaps he was going to try and resell it on Ebay, and figured he'd get more money by offering all the accessories. I wouldn't be surprised.
