Last summer (and the previous summer) I worked a few concerts at a park for free. Well, there was a big name indy band that night so people had to pay to enter on top of me having to break down the chairs the night before, then put them back up with a bunch of other volunteers (we were getting paid for that night as an incentive). The concert was fun (though the opening band was better then the feature), and I was with my boyfriend. We did a few pot head searches, but other then that, there were no incidents... until the concert was over.
We were taking down and replacing barricades when I noticed two obviously drunk girls coming up and trying to "help." They then asked to see the band. Repeatedly we tried to tell them to leave, but couldn't actually touch them, so they ended up just wondering around until security nabbed them.
This would be fine and dandy, if one of them hadn't slurred out the darnedest thing before being escorted out.
"I have a gun."
To be honest, I would have been shocked if she actually had one, and new how to use it. I figured she was too drunk to realize that what she was saying was more retarded then intimidating and was just trying for a reason to see the band.
It was a rather... bazaar encounter, to say the least.
