not really a sucky customer. she just made go 'wha...?'

today, i had a customer call, and ask if we had any Aquafina on sale. i told her just one moment, and i will check. so, i looked in the ad, and saw there was a coupon to make is $5. i went to the aisle to check if we had any in stock. we did. so i go back and get on the phone.

Me: "Ma'am, we have Aquafina on a coupon for $5 and we do have it in stock."

Her:" Oh, so its not 2 for $10 anymore...."

Me:" uh...um...Ma'am...its $5. if you get 2, it will be $10."

Her:" What? you do have it 2 for $10?"

Me:"......Yes."

Her:"Oh wonderful! ill be in tomorrow!"

Me, thinking, thank god i have off tomorrow.....

"Actually, tomorrow the price changes to 3 for $15. I'll still let you get the 2 for $10 deal though. In fact since I like you, I'll even give you the bulk rate of 4 for 20!"

You should have told her that they were 2 for $10, 3 for $20 and 6 for $50. She would have thought she was getting a bargain.
