Ok here's me giving you my standard 5 min pistol inst.
You shoot almost off a 2x3' target board at 10ft where I see your not even looking at the funny little things called sights and wonder why you did not hit center
Ok again here's the 5 min refresher, with much pointed and small drawings of sight picture,
Shoot again, again by not following anything I told you on grip, arm placement, trigger control, or even KEEPING THE PISTOL INFRONT OF YOUR FACE.
Yes she would move her head off to the side and jerk the trigger.
No you didn't hit the center or even close, in fact your not just bad your unsafe-not following basic ins. I thought military teams, small arms school for civ, Boy Scout but I can't teach you if you don't listen.
*repeat all inst*
AGIAN look away and just wing on off.
ok your done.
WHY? ok maybe because operating a lethal devise we want you to point it in the right place. The BF was cool had a clue and understood she was not listening so I stopped.
Ok you bring grand pap to the range. Ok he does not speak much English ok.
I poll you on his shooting experience. When, what oh you want to shoot a .45 right off the bat. ok he has shot, ok.
Again give the 5 min inst just in case.
Again I can see changes to bad hand grip, not sighting.
Get translate again 5 min brief, much back and fourth in Spanish, I don't speak it but I get the idea, he tried to get grandpa the idea. Still he's all over the place.
oh now you say he hasn't shot since being a kid. Well that would of been nice to know.
OK move on to rifle, I take them to a nice easy 9mm. It has a eotech holo sight.
It real easy to use,
Red circle, with a red dot in the middle, put the dot where you want the bullet it go. you got it?
Si
miss,
translate explain, you see it,
Si
nope all over the place.
Again translate inst,
Oh that!
*sign*
I gave the WTF look at the son, he shrugged and understood I was trying.
Then he wanted to shoot a .44 Desert Eagle.
oh hells no
Thankfully only the son wanted to do it and it went well for over a hour I had to deal with just him.
