Nah, I'd tell them to complain to corporate. Maybe if they got 20 complaints versus the original complaint they'd allow the op to do something about it.
But you should know that Corporate simply won't care. They'll just tell OP's management to give refunds to the complainants. After all, costs THEM nothing...
