I was one of those "spoiled brat" college kids who had her parents help her through college (I got scholarships for half, they paid the other half) but I'm thankful for what they did and it ended after 4 years, which was (thankfully) when I graduated. I loved (and still love) to shop in thrift stores, even now that I work a good-paying full time job. I love all the crazy stuff you can find there (I've got all sorts of odd clothing, including a black and red square dance dress that looks vaguely and awesomely goth, that I've gotten, along with a lot of knick knacks).
My biggest pet peeve, and the reason I feel for the employees, is the same thing I hate about Walmart (at least in IL and MI)--all the rude, stinky, entitled white trash taking up space.
