  • Don't you just love calling the cops...

    and wasting there time

I hate having to call the cops on guests, because it is a waste of time, but I can't really do anything other than call local PD when I have messed up people causing problems for me.

Lady gets a room last night for her son. It was about 12:30am. She leaves and son and his gf are in the room. Until 4am, there were atleast 40 incoming calls for that room, and 50 or so outgoing. Not to mention the 6 people that came in looking for that room. I hate to think they dealt drugs or something, but this is not normal behaviour, especially on a Sunday night.

11am this morning, check out time. Son checks out of the room. All is good. I was expecting the room to be trashed, but it was not.

At 12:30pm, the lady that rented the room got onto the property, not through the front doors, but through a rear entrance. She goes upstairs and while the housekeeping was cleaning the room she had rented, she snuck in. The housekeeper wasn't in the room at the time, but the door was open. She locked the door, and calls down the front desk.

All I hear is some women, yelling about how the phone isn't working and that she wants a refund for the crappy treatment she received. I told her that she needs to get out of the room. She refused. I go up there and try to open the door. She had the safety latch on. Also, she had a couple dudes with her. Needless to say, I can't handle this. So I call the cops.

When they arrive, we go up to the room. She leaves the room without a struggle, the dudes that were with her are gone. She comes downstairs and starts yelling again, about how she is here for her husbands funeral, who she claimed is a cop, and how nobody at the hotel transfered her calls to her son's room (BS, I transfered all the calls). I also like how she claimed she works a hotel, and KNOWS that she is supposed to get a 200% refund for her troubles, lol, sure thing, I will be processing that right away. One officer then took her outside.

The other talked to me a little. I look outside and see that she is crying. The officer that is talking to me goes outside. Then they cuff her (I bet she had an outstanding warrant or something). And then they leave the property, her car is still parked here, not sure what to do about it.

What a great way to start off the week. I guess I should say that I am not upset about calling the cops either, since she was arrested, she must have had priors.

I hope you guys are having better days.

Wow. Way too intense for a Sunday/monday.

I wonder what she was doing in there. Actually, I don't want to know.

I'd just call to have the car towed at her expense. But then I'm a mean biddy.

You're not the only one. Imagine if the local police department did it...not only would she have to pay the towing fee...but an impound one as well

The police might want to check out her car first. Call them and ask if you should tow it or if they will. If the police do, there is no way for the costs to bounce back to you if she is gone a long time.

So she wants a refund for the "crappy treatment" she received after renting a room for someone else who had checked out an hour and a half before with no complaints...

Yeah, good luck with that, lady...

The car was towed by the city. We didn't even have to call about it. I think the lady is in bigger trouble than I thought (probably why she was crying so much).

I am not even going to make excuses for the lady, she was dumb. This is why she is in trouble with the law, she is dumb. I take it as a lesson, do not act dumb, be rational and act like a normal, contributing member of society, and your life will be that much better.

                  Such a waste

They got to arrest someone on outstanding warrants. They love doing it.
The main arcade in the area I managed them, was loved by the local PD.
I caught a runaway from 300 miles away that one officer was put too looking for full time. I caught an escapee from Juvenile detention, plus a few major local felons.
Everyone came to the arcade at one time or another, and the cops just started to bring me the wanted sheets. Now this is pretty decent sized arcade. Not one of those super bar/restaurant things, but we had close to 200 games plus pool tables.
Being on the "bar block" in a college town meant on weekend nights I had 6 bouncers working for me plus a change person. someone was good for take down on someone running from or fighting the cops once a month outside on the street.
It was funny how some of the local citizens hated us, but the cops loved us, and would stick up for us. I see you dealing, I get you busted. I see you talking to children, and I get you busted. You are drunk and give me shit. I watch you drive out of the parking lot, and I point you out to the cruiser parked across the street.
I am that quiet vengeful evil bastard. You do not even know how the cops found you.
I was calling them on my cell phone while smoking a cigarette outside on the sidewalk. I worship the dark side of the Goddess Karma, and serve her sacrifices often. I used to tell the teens that my favorite hobby was getting people who pissed me off arrested as a hint to behave. The weird thing is now not working there I get kids years later coming up to me in a local bar. Buying me a drink , and thanking me for being so tough on them, and making them behave when they were stupid teenagers.
