    i had the same thought,

i work at sears in the auto department, i figure lots of people would be takeing advantage of having a day off in the week to beable to get new tires for their cars,

now who would come in for brakes, knowing it was a holiday,

i guess the the one customer who comes in every so often and asks a whole lot of questions unfortuantly for my manger, he was cleaning out a room in the waiting area, and every time he would come out of the room the guy had a new question for him. needless to say the manger quickly finished his project and then found a new one that required him to go shopping in the hardware dept.

i tell him that he would be there all day, and if we were not able to get parts he would have to leave the car over till tomorrow till i can get them,

but the brakes are under warranty, i have a few days left on it,

i run the milage... sorry your out of warranty by about 3000 miles.

ok well ill have them checked anyway,

he sits there all day before we can get to his car, come to find out its not even his brakes, but something in the front end that is messed up (i forget which) and of course i cant get the parts.

at least he wasnt being a jerk like last time when i miss quoted his time by a few mins.

OK seriously, who the hell decides that they're going to go to Staples on the 4th of July? Don't they have anything better to do?

Of course not, or they wouldn't be there now, would they?

That goes specially for car dealerships.any I hate it, when a car salesman comes up as soon, as I get out of the car. No offense to any car salespeople.
They have to do that. It can be a very cut-throat industry. They usually have your car marked out for who gets to be your salesperson before you even turn onto the lot.

            What?
I believe she was referencing your bit about office supplies not being a neccessity like food. I'm also assuming that a large box is perched precariously on a ledge. Slice, just learn to dodge!

You mean, I can't get me some star-spangled paper clips today?
And, no, I don't have a life, much less anything 'better' to do.
