There are some things I do care about origin for, but this is not one of them.

Usually, the "Made In" label is on the packaging and on the product. Apparently, your L.O.L. doesn't read and expects you to know everything about the product down to development cycle just like clerks did when she was young.

I have come to loathe the "Where is this made?" question when it is distinctly on the package.
