Conversely, I once had a guy a while ago that thought the price was too LOW and had thought I was forgetting taxes. I told his the tax was figured automatically, he just looked at me and said, "Wow..."

I had a customer at the Golden Arches get angry at me about being taxed to dine-in. He brandished his receipt in my face before I could respond, I checked the receipt and said, "Sir, it says 'Dine-in' and then 'tax', it doesn't say 'Dine-in tax'. That's just so we know your order is for here."

Separate story, I went to DC with the family once, and bought some souvenirs, and was confused that the price they were labeled was what they rang up. I asked the sales lady, "What about the tax?"
"There's no tax in DC."
