I heard banks are pretty strict when it comes to their employees. Worry more about doing a decent job, trusting your gut and doing what's good for your employer, than what a whiny customer wants. If that bitch wants to close her account, that's fine, you've got other big clients to worry about anyways (those who aren't scam artists).
My bank (a Federal Union) was even skeptical when cashing one of my checks. When my husband and I got married, I didn't take his name and my employer at the time put his last name on my check anyway, thus, making a whole ordeal to cash my check at my bank. They cashed it anyway, but not without all the proper ID and verification and all that, so I can see where bank employees would be on edge when doing any kind of questionable transaction.
