1 gallon = approx. 3.5 litres.
Therefore: 1 gallon = £3.50. Into $ = $6.60 approx.
I agree, our petrol prices in Australia are getting ridiculous too. We are currently paying about $1.39 a litre.
In Australian dollars, that's $4.90 a gallon. With the American monetary value conversion, that's about $6.125 per gallon.
