    Let's see. What is rude...

It's rude to tell an SC that you are helping a customer at the jewelry counter and you will be over to let them in the fitting room as soon as possible.

It's rude to be talking on the phone with a cashier who needs a price check and quietly tell an SC you'll be with them in a moment. (I once received a complaint that I was chatting on my cell phone and refused to hang up to help an SC.)

It's rude to finish with an existing customer before turning your full, undivided attention to entitlement whores.

It's rude tell an SC that you don't know where tablecloths are but you will call someone who does know.

It's rude to have your hands full of shirts, pants, socks or what-have-you and have to find some place to put them before you can unlock the fitting room door for an SC.

It's rude to ask an SC on the ' Pick Up Phone for Service ' phone whether they want to get into the men's fitting room or the ladies fitting room.

Hell, let's face it. Everything you do or say is rude to these gravy sucking pigs.

I'm typically not rude, but rather "disappointing" for not being able to change rules, reduce prices, waive policy, etc.
Oh, how I hate that! It's infuriating to be told how "disappointed" someone is in you and your company and how because the person is "such a good customer", we should find a way to do the impossible.

I work in a manufacturing company in customer service and this little nugget of poison goodness came after I had told this suckbag no no no no maaaaany times. He just kept hammering at me with the passive-agressive suckiness. I belive the exact wording was "I know it is difficult, but I would just like you to go back and find a way to think outside the box". Grrrrr. More annoying since every time I said NO, I was met with more passive-agressive BS and again told to "try thinking outside the box" and find a miracle-magic way of doing what we shouldn't be doing and what I already said we won't be doing.

My supervisor called this jerk back and agreed to move in the production date for his order, even though our production lines were well beyond capacity and it was not our fault we didn't receive his order earlier. She at least pointed out (as if this jerkface would care), that by sqeezing his order in, we were sqeezing other orders out. Gads, I like her, even if she had to cave in to this twerp because not only is he passive-agressive, but he will call his corporate headquarters and whine. His corp headquarters hold a lot more sway with our company than this annoying turd does. Grrr.

A lion however, will only devour your corpse, whereas an SC is not sated until they have destroyed your soul. (Quote per infinitemonkies)

If only I could return the favor to some of those SC's...

"Sir, the fact that you destroyed the entire table of dress shirts to find your size, then left it in that state, is quite rude."

"Sir, the extreme B.O. I am suffering through from you as I fit you for a suit is Rude. Doubly so now that you have tried on multiple, and only wish to purchase one...and lets not talk about the stench you left in the fitting room..." (True story, this one...)

"Ma'am, as fun as running your hand through our ties and causing them to fall onto the floor may be, it is quite rude." (Another true story...)
"Ohhh, they're so greedy." John Steed, the Avengers.
