Somehow I'd rather take $100 or $150 and light the bloodly bills on fire than buy either purse. You couldn't make me take either one for free...... And people buy and shoplift THOSE!?!?!?

Re: The Purse
I have seen something uglier and tackier. And I had the dubious honor of displaying it/vending it.
I don't know if you've kept up on the latest in the coin-op prize machines, but the latest trend is to offer stuff that costs more than a basic teddy bear. It started with DVDs, then quickly escalated to cameras, iPod™ accessories (the expensive ones), Webkinz™, console games, and then moved even higher. I have one game featuring DS Lites, and another one with the current lineup of: Zune (high end), Sony camera (high end), Satellite radio setup (no idea if it's high end or not; it came with the game, and hasn't moved), Xbox 360, and I'm thinking about ordering one of the real high end digital picture frames next.
Given the cost of the prizes... consider that playing the game is $2... consider that we want to turn a profit, and the place we have it at wants their cut... no, it's not easy to beat. But it is possible, and I've done it (and even returned the prize, since I was testing the game). Anyway....
I wanted to get something that wasn't electronic. Something that I didn't have to worry about someone saying "It broooooooke" after they won it. Something that wasn't going to become less valuable over time, like I'm afraid that the XM radio setup is doing. So I ordered a purse.
It didn't come with any pictures I could look at. But apparently, they try to keep up with fashion. Well, fashion in this case... it looked like one of those oval trash cans. Y'know, the ones that are about 30 cm high, with a 25 cm x 12 cm oval shape. With straps, but no cover flaps, and the purse doesn't bend easily, so carrying it does make you look exactly like you're carrying one of those trash cans with straps attached. A trash can made out faux leather (or possibly real leather) with a light-tan and black zebra-stripe pattern, no less. I was congratulating myself on the fact that I didn't care if it was ever won or not, since it would take up peg space nicely, and make the game look less like an electronics botique. The manager of the place I put it was amazed that we could even get anything so ugly, and figured that it would be there forever.
Silly us. We forgot that it had the name "Coach" on it. It was the next prize chosen.
