I got it on the first go. What's miss spelled?
I'm going to assume that this is a joke or meant to be ironic.

Not everyone is perfect. However i see nothing wrong with this. (Maybe a Little rushed). picking on her is wrong.
We all live in different parts of the earth ,with different ways of speaking. So lease she is speaking English. Boston Were im from have ways of speaking and then we have Southern Ways of speaking in Florida were my cousins are from. We all have a Good laugh at each other!. Now im in Maine....My god....You think Boston is funny. Some of these people Leave out Letters when they speak. The ones who been born and raised here.
True, accents do vary from country to country and from region to region. However, the words that are being spoken are still spelt the same (with the occasional difference between British/American spelling) from region to region. Nobody is perfect, and we do not expect a post that would make a linguist sigh a happy sigh.

That being said, random capitals in the middle of words, nonsensical puncuation, and highly irregular spelling is not the best way to tell a story, especially if you are trying to tell people how poorly somebody else was acting. In this case, it made it almost unreadable for me.

what is ?"Teh stoopid is strong with that one. Very strong"
I SEE THAT AS A MADE UP .UNLESS IM MISSING SOMETHING.
anyone going to say something to this?
Yes. We do discourage all manner of "leet speak" as much as possible. However, some does get posted, and in this case, it was intended to be a tongue-in-cheek way of insulting the intelligence of the sucky customer in the original post. It's not officially recognized English, but I never said we were sticklers for Oxford-approved English

***ok so i am new here and this probably will not get posted. But lease i tried to be nice unlike some.
Well, as you can see, this did get posted. We ask that people be respectful of others, but we try to foster an environment where people can feel free to speak their minds (unless the subject is about highly controvertial subjects such as race, religion, etc. In that case, we ask that you take that to a site that Raps has generously started for that purpose, www.fratching.com.)

well i don't blame her , (that she left)
IS THAT WHY SHE IS CROSSED OUT?
No. We don't mind if people spend their internet time somewhere else--that's their choice. However, since she decided to announce her departure publicly in her public profile, we granted her wish. We wouldn't want her to come back, embarassed, after she had announced she would never do that. This has been a tradition since long before I was a member, going back to the previous ownership of a site.

I'm sorry that you don't seem to like certain aspects of this site and it's members. I find it to be very disappointing when you cannot please all people. However, there are many people that I would consider to be good people and friends, and many members have been members for years. People have described the people here as 'their second family' and are genuinely happy for others on here during times of joy, and full of kind words and sympathy during times of hardship. This was done using our current set of rules, including rule for spelling and grammar. I would not give up what I have on CS for anything.

I'd like to support Spiffy here. I've known many people for whom English is a second language: they all tell me that a post which contains one or two words which are intentionally misspelled (as in leet-speak, or a typo) is still easily read, because the meaning of the words can be gleaned from context. Similarly, they don't mind a person spelling correctly for the Oxford rather than Webster's dictionary, or vice versa, as the words are still easily looked up in online dictionaries.

However, a post in which the capitalisation, punctuation, and spelling are treated as optional becomes completely incomprehensible to them.

I don't mind if people think of me as a spelling elitist and choose not to spellcheck because they think I - or Ree, or Spiffy - should be able to understand them anyway. But please think of those for whom English is not their first language.

Nobody was picking on anyone or making fun of anyone.

A member was simply told that her posting style was a little confusing, and she was asked to edit before posting.

As for the dyslexia or Dyspraxia, I'm pretty sure the editing program highlights the word and gives you the option of replacing it with the correct word, so it wouldn't matter if a person is unable to recognize the errors. The program does the work.

I have a very dear friend who recently confided in me that she had severe learning problems as well as dyslexia, and I was shocked. The quality of this person's writing over the years I have known her would never even give one any cause to think there were problems.

She uses the tools she has to help her filter out the errors.

I feel bad about this situation, because, as a rule, we do not allow flaming, and we ask that members confine their comments to a PM if they have a problem with a person's posts.

In this case, I did make a comment in the thread, but what people don't know is that, once I saw a few comments to her on different threads, I PM'ed the member and asked if there were certain issues that made posting difficult for her.
I offered some suggestions to help her.

Rather than take the hand of friendship offered, she chose to take offense and announce that she was leaving the site and never bothered to reply to me.

I think Spiffy has explained what happened with regard to the banning, so I don't need to go into it.

Now, let's focus on the actual topic of this thread, which is a customer blaming a cashier because they were caught shoplifting.

Yep it's always someone elses fault that you steal. Some people shouldn't be allowed out of their houses.
Figers are vicious I tell ya. They crawl up your leg and steal your belly button lint.

While I was at work tonight, I was replaying in my head some of the phenomenal stories I've read on here, and this one came across my mind.

If anyone accused me of being at fault of their shoplifting -- I would unceremoniously laugh IN THEIR FACE.

I wouldn't even be able to hold it back, even for a few seconds.

              Some people..... oy! >.<

                MOD INTERJECTION

I've just had to delete several posts because even after Ree said to get it back on topic the discussion did not get back on topic.

So, either get it back on topic OR we'll just close the thread.
