Not all of these are sucky, just really confusing. Brain-pain confusing.
For my last few months at work I've been mainly doing Door&Baskets; greeting & handing out catalogues at the door, or walking around offering people baskets if they need them. So basically, I have contact with every single customer in the store. I don't have to spend lengths of time with them like cashiers, but I speak to ALL of them. And they confuse and frighten me.

At the Door I get this:
ME: Hi! Would you like a catalogue.
SC: Oh yes please!/Sure/Okay, I'll take one.
They promptly walk off without taking the catalogue from my outstretched hand
I also get:
ME: Hi! Would you like to take a catalogue?
SC: No thanks/No, I'm alright/I already have one.
These people will often take the goddamn catalogue
Baskets are even better. I have to offer baskets to everyone, not just people who look like they need them. I've found that quite often people who have maybe three small purchases that easily fit in one hand take a basket. Of course they might be buying more, so no problem.
So why do the people with a dozen huge items spilling out of their arms and onto the floor refuse them?
Gah! These people hurt my head
