Gawds. Sorry, this topic grates on my nerves. Just for one reason. People blaming the methers for the gov't regulations being retarded.

It's just a two-fold problem. There's people who want to make a mess of their lives with drug use. And there's people who want to do anything in their power to stop them.

But anyway, polytetrafluoroethylene is equally, if not more, as useful as pseudoephedrine. I use it every day.

I've never been a big fan of anhydrous dihydrogen monoxide though - It just doesn't do anything. Very hard to come by as well.

Seriously though, If I wanted to be awake for three days, taking apart electronic equipment and writing insane drivel into notebooks (yay CSI stereotype!), I'd just OD on 5-Hour energy drinks and Mountain Dew MDX... <.< Less chance of my face rotting, though I can't say the same about my teeth.

The best medicine is actually Blackberry Brandy. Tastes like shit, worse than any cold medicine I've ever tasted, but it works wonders when you feel something coming on or if you are already sick.

Buy either a whole bottle if you are really sick, or a little 99 cent bottle of it for a quick fix. Go home. Wrap yourself up in tons of blankets and heavy pajamas. Guzzle the brandy. Go to sleep. Sweat it out. Yes, it's gross.....but you feel so much better when you wake up!

Rock and Rye has the same effect . . . even more so if you manage to eat the fruit at the bottom of the bottle.

Headache or general ache = TPM
Sniffles, cough, et al = NyQuil
I can't sleep! too much caffiene! = Unisom

I don't mix though. That's just stupid.

NyQuil took out the decongestant.... Pisses me OFF. becuase when I get a cold, all I get in the inability to breathe through my nose. It didn't work last time. Same cold, same medicine.... No fix. Drowning in my sleep here.

Part of the issue with meth is the byproducts of the production is hazerdous waste. This means you have to have a full crew in hazmat suits come out to clean it up with special equipment and chemicals, and that ain't cheap. It is putting some of the smaller communities in the country into bankruptcy. I can sort of get behind the regulations when it costs so much taxpayer money to clean up after a few idiots.

Nobody's yet picked up that I reccommended teflon as a useful equivalent to pseudoephidrine (polytetrafluoroethylene is the name of the polymer, CnF2n, which is formed from tetrafluorethene, CF2CF2)

Yeah, now all the otc cold/allergy meds I used to buy have doxylamine succinate as a decongestant, and it sucks! Doesn't make me sleepy at all, and there's just no point to it, now. I used to love the Kirkland nighttime cold medicine. One small swig and I was out for the night. They don't even sell it, anymore! Now what am I supposed to take?

Nope, it is because they don't have the guts to complain the people with real power. Imagine how fast the average SC would shut-up if you could say, "That's a DEA agent over there. I am sure he is interested in why you feel you should not be IDed buying meth making materials".
