I Hate Scammers!!!

At the grocery store I work at, the idiots at corprate have come up with another GREAT idea. You know those little orange reduced meat coupons that you just key in a code to take off x dollars? They have decided to use 30% and 50% coupons instead. These ones you peel off, scan, enter price of meat, and it takes off the discount, leaving behind a grey copy of what % you saved. Sounds good in theory, right? WRONG! TODAY was the first day of these coupons and I had SEVERAL people take the 50% peel off and put it on the 30% grey one. It looks legit, til you pull of the top one that says 50 and the bottom one says 30. I asked management what to do and they say UHH, I DON'T KNOW. What a cheap bunch of scammers. I mean is 20% gonna make or break you? If management doesn't care, than I guess I shouldn't either!

I hate it when management can't decide what to do in situations where the company is getting ripped off...no matter how small the difference is - it's the principle man!

and of course the company can't get the ones that can only be peeled off once to stop this. Nooo... They have to get the ones that can be reapplied.

I guess if they don't know, then that means you can sweetly tell the customer that they get no discount at all, right? (Well, perhaps the poor sots that get the other pack of meat that says 50% on the bottom and 30% on the top)
