Nothing that serious around here, but when I was seeing the Dominos guy, he had said they were no longer delivering to the trailer park across the street or kiddy corner or whatever you call it from where my parents live because without fail, every time a pizza was delivered there, Dominos would get a complaint that the driver had "spun out and kicked dirt at the trailers". It wasn't one driver, it was all of them, supposedly. On top of that, one time my guy was delivering to them and they were doing a Michael Vick thing, having a dog fight. So yeah, no more Dominos there.

You gotta do what you gotta do. It says in any company that deals w/ customers that you have the RIGHT to refuse service. If you want to be helped, then stop living up to the stereotypes the company may label you. Seriously, why is it so shocking that society continues to label others? It's b/c the stupid idiots in question continue to live up to their stereotypes.

at the pizza place I work at we would love to not go into certain areas to deliver, or if possible not deliver to certain customers, but as a whole not that bad (yet).
we just had the oppisite happen. we were actually banned from delivering to a certain hotel property. we deliver to a lot of hotels and motels in our area. they range from the budget type to the ritzy casino high end type. but there are 3 that are just this side of seedy flop houses. 2 are not really that bad but one is. every driver in my store absolutely HATES delivering there for various reasons including the owner/operator. the owners are of a different ethnic orgin (I will not say which does not really matter) than most persons in our area. just to add this ethnic group tends to be semi-vegitarian yes they do eat meat but not from certain animals (cows and pigs).
for whatever reason (and I have heard and experienced several reasons myself) the owners complain alot about their food and other things. we have a record of this on paper and in the computerized ordering system files
on to the story
the owners call up and order pizza. one of the drivers take the order. the wife specfically orders a Supream (Yes I work for Pizza Hut) now we have TWO types of Supream regular and chicken. The wife specifically orders a REGULAR Supream the drive/CSR checks to make sure they are ordering correctly and repeats the order back not once but 3 TIMES. all 3 times the wife says Supream (this is important later). driver puts the order through and goes on with life that night. order comes up and another driver gets to deliver it.
Pizza is delivered. the wife looks at the pizza and immediately starts to BITCH up a storm. WE ORDERED A CHICKEN SUPREAM we are vegitarians WE WANTED A CHICKEN SUPREAM WE CAN NOT EAT MEAT I DO NOT WANT THE PIIIIIIIZZZZZZZZAAAAAA. you guy ALWAYS get our order wrong blah blah blah blah
Driver apologizes and has them call the store and exits the scene. now the store manager is on duty this night along with a long time assistant. the driver who took the original order has also returned for their delivery. the AM takes the "complaint" call. the store manager gets involved. the driver is asked about the order and what they ordered. after getting the story the AM tell the customer they can get a replacement but since they have done this a few times before they will have to pay full price for it. the AM and GM are in agreement on this point since these people have complained sooooooo muych in the past. much agruing ensues. several phone calls get made by the wife and husband.
meanwhile life goes on for us drivers -- orders are taken and delivered including 3 orders for rooms at the motel. while we drivers are out on the road many phone calls pass between the owners and our managers. I am dispatched on an order to the hotel. as I pull into the parking lot the husband owner literally runs out of the office and starts screaming at me to get off his property and we can not EVER deliver to his property EVER AGAIN. OK fine with me except that I can not deliver the order. well nothing I can do. I get in my car and return to the store and tell the manager (and all of the drivers) what happened. apparently while I was in the process of driving to the hotel the GM and the hotel owner kinda got into it. our GM stated to the owner that since there were many many complaints and this latest incident had turned so nasty that it was felt that they should take their business elsewhere since we were not fulfulling their "Needs"
we have not delivered to that hotel since. as an after note the owners called the 800 number and tried to get us in trouble. there were given free stuff (typical) and tried to calls to get delivery but we refused. they called the 800 number again and got more free stuff and then tried to get delivery and we refused again.I'm lost without a paddle and headed up SH*T creek.
