I had the misfortune three years ago, to begin a two year tradition of slicing the tip of my thumb off every September.

Doing the exacdt same thing (cutting plastic bits for models. First time was a ship, then a Warhammer mini).

The first time I was working in a kitchen, so it wasn't bad, but I couldnt' do dishes. I also put myself into shock cause I tried to peel the bandage off the next day and well, collapsed.

Second time around I ws smarter though and manged to not, but I was on the tables then, so had to deal cards with a huge wrapped left thumb. not easy.

BUt, at every table I made up a new story of how I hurt myself (Uncanniballs of the mississipi, Pirates of the carribean, alligator wrestling...)
