Sorry, kind of late to the party on this one...

Me: "Hi there! How are you today?" Just a friendly greeting, not trying to make her buy crap.
SW: "NO! I'm just LOOKING!"

Sounds like she's been cruising car dealerships. I'd get that reaction from time to time, including one absolute über-bitch who prefaced it with "Are you gonna follow me around all day?!" Well, as much as I hated to do it sometimes, that was my job...

Either that, or she got accosted by one of those cell phone/Dead Sea kiosk types and was already in a defensive mood. Still, though, that doesn't excuse her behavior.
