Something similar happened to the sign outside my father’s office. Trucks backing into the loading dock of [National Retail Chain] kept hitting the sign.
The first time the sign was hit was weird. The second time it was hit was annoying. The third time we designed and built a sign that would stop a tank. The sign uprights are 18” I beams cemented 4’ in the ground. The I beams are then surrounded by concrete block with the centers poured with concrete. The face of the stone is washed river stone. It looks pretty, pretty solid.
Odd, now that the sign is built like a fortress no one has hit it, or if they have we can’t tell.
Semi Trucks follow the laws. The laws the follow most are Newton's Laws.
