Hehe....I figured you had seasons! But I would guess it still gets colder in the winter and not as hot in the summer as places farther south.

Had some relatives come up to Toronto during summer from Jamaica, they arrived wearing their warmest clothes. The outside temperature was 40C in the shade, if it was not for air-conditioning in the car they would not made the trip to our house without stripping.

I remember checking out the Super Bowl when it was in Detroit. I could easily tell the difference between the people who came from Pittsburgh and the people who came from Seattle. Amusing stuff.

How does one portion out a yard of ale? The only way that comes to mind is a 3 foot tall, skinny glass. Kind of hard to drink from really.

That's exactly it. Sort of a drinking game with style. I think it has a bulbous part on the closed end.
