Wait , why should I have to pay for another channel I'll never watch? It's bad enough I have to subsidize ESPN, why add more to it? Let it be seperate, and those who want it can buy it. I'd rather they do that for all the channels, frankly. I'll take the chance of paying more for what I do watch versus not paying for what I don't.
I wish the cable companies would offer a la carte programming. I only watch half a dozen channels on a regular basis, and a few others semi-regularly. I'm willing to pay a little more for what I really want, especially if it means weeding out what I absolutely do not want. I'd say that I don't even watch half the channels we get on our cable package. It's just that the channels I do want are scattered across several tiers of programming, so I have to buy it all to get what I want.

Guy wanting a refund for what the NFL deciced reminds me of this story about a class action lawsuit against Microsoft. Three people are suing Microsoft over outages on X-Box Live during the holiday season. The amount they are suing for? 5 million. Damn entitlement people
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

I totally agree that suing is ridiculous, and 5 million is uber-ridiculous.

But its not like Microsoft didn't know in advance that X-Box Live was going to get much busier over the holiday season. And it doesn't appear they did much about it.

It just sorta sucked for those of us that are loyal to X-Box Live and pay for it year-round.

If you have to ask, it's probably better posted at www.fratching.com

What makes me laugh the most in this instance? How much did it cost him on his phone bill to be on hold and speak to the cable company? And how much of his time did he spend on a $1 credit. :scratches head: Some things, I will never understand, because "the principle" is usually a waste, and kind of stupid.
