I'm with the OP on the grannies who want to dig through their change purses.

I don't think I mentioned anything in my post (I did start the topic) about people who dig for change. It doesn't bother me in the least. So long as I haven't already finished making your change. If you catch me before the drawer is closed, and I understand your math, sure, I'll fix your change.

I was more posting about the fact she didn't even mention a coupon until after I had gotten through to her change, and how she was upset that I work quickly.

The digging for change came about because of thread drift.
