I am really lucky - in my apartment building the landlord provides a laundry room with a really nice washer and dryer for free use for the building's tenants. There are signs up stating that only the tenant's laundry can be done in those machines, which I think is perfectly reasonable. All of the other tenants are retired people, so they use the machines on weekdays. This leaves them free for my use anytime I want on the weekend. It sure beats going to a laundromat or maintaining my own set (which I sold when I moved here.)
