Customer Took Salad Without Paying

Yesterday, when I had punched in for my checking shift which was half an hour after I had punched out from my service desk shift, one of the service desk employees was overriding a checker out who stayed late to cover a checker that called out. One customer was not happy about having to wait and she ended up grabbing the two salad bags that she was planning to get and walked out with them without paying.

I used to work in a grocery store back when salad bars in a grocery store were a new thing. You know, grab a tray, fill it up, and they ring your purchase at the register. Pay by the pound.

At least once a day we'd catch someone standing at the salad bar having lunch right there.
