Well, my language skills are sleeping right now, so I'm very interested in hearing the translation, if someone would oblige me.
roughly translated it means Sister's Farts

technically, it's "nun farts" because "soeurs" in this case refers to Catholic nuns

Catholic nuns can also be called sister just like priests can be called father

*done with her internet* It was either Sweetbread or Totoe, which are carribean sweet bread items made with sugar and coconut on top.

I've never heard of the word "sweetbread" actually referring to something made of anything even remotely resembling bread... *off to learn a few things on wikipedia*

                  Mystery solved!
They wanted a type of Ciabatta bread by This one company.
We got it for only a week.

                  Why?

We were not listed, therefore they would not scan. We made up sum prices to get rid of what we had and didn't order anymore after it.

So all in all, I was right, my manager congratulated me on answering that they were a seasonal item.
Now would be a good time to visit So Very Unofficial!

I thought churros were made from a sort of pancake mix, piped through like an icing sugar bag nozzle but much wider bore, with an 8 or 10 pointed star cross-section. Piped directly into a very hot deep fat frier, they solidify quickly as they cook into a 6 - 8 inch long almost donut, which you then dip into hot chocolate,

Hot chocolate that is preferably made from whole milk and cocoa powder which is very slowly warmed up so the chocolate is very creamy, very strong, very sweet, and especially improved by melting a bar of chocolate into it, so it is more like chocolate sauce than drinking chocolate.

Churros con chocolate, a Spanish delight.

Damn, it's breakfast time, and all I have is Kellogg's cornflakes.

                      Elephant Ears? (Oreja de Elefante)

It looks like a looped up V that rolls in on itself over and over, covered in crystalized sugar. Its called Elephant Ears because they resemble its namesake.. just all gooey and golden. -drool-

They're really good dipped in orange juice instead of milk.

Me: "What kind of cheese would you like on your sandwich?"

                        SC: "....regular cheese?"

                        Me: "American, swiss, provolone....?"

SC: "I don't know! REGULAR cheese!

"What size can I get you, ma'am?"
                        "Red."
"Okay...I'll check the red for you, but what size do you need?"
                        "RED!"

As opposed to all those "irregular" cheeses I guess.

i can think of something i ate once (pretty sur eit was a mexican pastry, one of the two i actually like) kind about 6 inches long maybe 8 maybe 2 and half inces wide sweet and soft on the inside crusty and covered with crystalized sugar on the outside.... i think thats what they were talking about.
That would, I believe, be a churro.

Sopapillas? I made some of these once and they were wonderful. My favorite Mexican restaurant has them on their menu, but they're not the fluffy kind, just strips of fried dough with cinnamon and honey. Not that I don't like them, but the puffed up kind are better.
