I don't see a problem with people picking up prescriptions for you if you are sick or incapable of getting your meds yourself. But seriously, what's to stop me from just going and getting someone else's prescription that's been called in? I could easily just claim that I'm the person and they'd never know. I just think there should be a way of determining who is cool to pick up your prescriptions and who isn't.

Same as them saying "but I'm married" when they try and use their spouses credit card. Nope, regardless of marriage you are still an individual.

Because the insurance company will put a hold on filling prescriptions if you try to fill too many for some types of drugs. (Xanax, Pain meds, Amphetamines, Steroids).

It's to help keep people from getting 5 different prescriptions from 5 different doctors and filling them all in order to support their drug habit.

His wife normally does the pick, but instead he is doing it himself.

The pickup is usually at his local store, now it is somewhere a distance away.

While there are good reasons why he may be doing this, there is also the chance he is avoiding his wife finding out what he needs.

See I'm an odd duck.

When I need medication I'd rather wait on a percription than just be able to grab a quick over the counter thing.

However, this is probably do to cost.
Rx= 0.00 because I have BLUE CROSS
Over the coutner= $$$ which I do not have most of the time.

So I'd rather wait around for the free stuff.
