  • I neeed money

We had a chick come in and say that she needed a MoneyGram because she had no money to get home or to buy food for her kids, the Service Desk was closed but we did her MoneyGram anyway. While we put the MoneyGram through the computer, this woman says, "I'm gonna go get some smokes." , now she said this BEFORE she got her MoneyGram, so much for not having money I guess.

A freind of mine had something slightly similar happen.

A chavvy woman with brat in tow comes to the kiosk he was working at, places a Darylea Lunchable on the table (presumably for said brat) and also asks for 20 cigs.

she then puts a crumpled fiver on the table, my freind explains that this is not enough for both items. He then explains that she could get a 10-pack and also be able to afford the Lunchable, but this is NOT ACCEPTABLE to the chav bint and she goes in to a strop, saying how 10 is not enough and she cant live without her smokes.

    Doncha just love these people?

3 Basic rules for ordering food.
      - Order from the menu.
      - If you order something that will take some time to cook, then be prepared to wait.
      - Don't talk about Fight Club.

Don't you understand I'm trying to die as quickly as possible so I don't have to deal w/ my kid anymore??? I NEED those 20 cigarettes - no wait make that 40 - and the kid can starve......

The child needs to be taken away from that person....poor kid.

People don't need to smoke to survive. They do need food, though.

Dunno about that...some days people need for me to smoke so that they will survive!

I had a lady order some Accutane for her son on public aid the other day. Accutane is a heavy duty pill for zits, and it's very expensive, like in the >$1,000 for a month's supply range.

Color me stupid, but shouldn't public aid be for necessary meds, like maintenance meds and emergency antibiotics and such? And why would the doc write for a super expensive zit pill, when they could go for a cheaper antibiotic and face wash?

I don't know. That just didn't sit well with me.

Accutane is only meant to be prescribed when other treatments like antibiotics have failed so that's not going to work. Really bad acne can leave terrible scarring as well as the psychological scars. Anyways, a lot of meds would technically be unnecessary if people would exercise, eat better, lose weight, stop smoking/drinking, practice better hygiene etc etc. It's really hard to draw the line.
Every day at work is the new worst day of my life.

well in the case of Accutane, which I am currently taking, sometimes the guidelines you prescribed are not enough. I'm not sure if you were implying that accutane falls under that category but I've tried the washes and gels and cheaper yet weaker alternatives. I also excersize 2-3 times a week, eat okay not extremely healthy, am not overweight, don't drink or smoke, shower twice a day and wash my face more than so, and yet it was not helping the keloidic acne that was affecting me.

Special Patrol Group was telling AFphoenix, that accutane is only given when other methods and less expensive medications don't work. He futher went on to explain that you really can't deny someone an acne medicine as unecessary, because where do you draw the line. Many conditions that people take prescription meds for could be minimized or alleviated with lifestyle changes. SPG is on your side!
The only words you said that I understood were "His", "Phone" and "Ya'll". The other 2 paragraphs worth was about as intelligible as a drunken Teletubby barkin' come on's at a Hooter's waitress.

I think he meant that a lot of other meds (IE, insulin, high blood pressure etc) would be unessecary for a lot of people if they would do these things.

They get all their meds from us. There was not much in the way of previous attempts at acne control in his profile.

Ah, walking in another's man shoes can be diffcult- Espically in a growing teenagers. I took accutane for about 6 months. I had very bad pimples on my back. No one saw them because I never showed them off. It very well may be the same situation.

I don't know, food is highly addictive. You have too keep eating it every day to feel normal. If you stop, the withdrawal is terrible and you will eventualy die. If you eat too much your body will store this dangerous substance in your body and this overdose can cause heart failure. We need to ban food immediatly.

BTW Noo_Noo, was the kid overweight? Mabee the parent was doing the child a favor by not feeding them.

/For any one who can't tell. I am kidding.
