    *whistles innocently*
I have to admit that I do this to some extent to my lowbies. Although I only have one level 60, and nothing beyond that.
I only have one 60 myself but its a Warlock and I feel dirty playing him these days. Decided to bring up a new Hunter and Druid. The low level brackets turned out even worse then when I use to play. There's no point in pvp'n before the 30 bracket unless you have 500g in the bank somewhere for enchants. Its gotten rather sad.

    On Misha here. -.-

Wth were we talking about again? Oh right, idiots with phones. Like I said we've had to do the reverse at work before: Warn abusive callers that would we consider it harassment if they continued to call and yell at our employees over and over. Which happens now and then unfortunately.

Are any of you people in BG9?

I don't see anything wrong with twinking. It's not easy at all to get a character to level 70, and even then you can't possibly get a really good gearset or hope to compete with the best unless you are in a hardcore raiding guild and you have a lot of rps/seniority (depending on your guild's loot system), or if you pvp a ridiculous amount, which as workers, is not easy either.

Twinking provides a fun, easy to achieve competition where the best of the best gear and enchants are achievable to just about anyone.

      Blackrock here btw.

Well, that's why you either pvp at lower brackets and twink your character, or level your character and pvp at the higher brackets :P

I'd sit at 69 and gear before hitting 70. If my 60 Lock can cut it with his crap ass greens and blues in the 60-69 bracket. ;p

I also seriously wish the "competition" argument would stop being used. Its not about competition. Competition would only be a valid excuse if the entire bracket was twink only and it isn't How is it "competitive" to one or two shot players who are new to the game, bracket or actually playing fairly without the assistance of a high level toon's gold income? That's not competition, its' griefing. I can't imagine how new players to the game must feel coming into it.

It ruins the battleground for non-twinks and the "fun" aspect (for the majority of twinks I see) is just e-peen godmoding over non-twinks. There's no justification for it, frankly. It'd be different if Blizzard would make a "twink only" bracket. But until then, its just poor form, imo.

But this is really derailing pet's thread. Enough WoWing or lets go bicker at each other in off-topic ( Which I'd rather not. I doubt either of us are going to change the other's mind. ) -.-

It's the primary reason I don't play. Offline games are fun from the moment you're past the tutorial, so why bother with games which make you sit through pointless levelling before it's any fun? I don't even know if I like that sort of game!

Please take further discussion on this topic to Off Topic or Fratching, leaving a post here with a link to that thread. Back to our regularly scheduled thread topic, okay guys?

As for the real thread topic: the line 'I'm going to keep calling until I reach her' demonstrates intent to harass. If there's a next time, try to record from early on (even just an MP3 player set on record held near the phone, if that works). Getting a phrase like that is legal gold - and is the proof of malicious intent I'd need to feel right about suing them.

            3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.

I actually think we both have very valid points. Personally I'm not interested in 2 shotting some poor new player, more interested in the only facet of the game where you can actually make your character the best it could possibly be, the only way to 100% the game if you will. (at endgame, this is a totally unattainable wild goose chase.) That's what i think appeals a lot of people to twinking.

But yes, you are absolutely right with what you are saying, it totally sucks for non-twinkers. Despite my argument, I don't actually have any twink characters. :P

Anyway, sorry pet for derailing your thread, If you were seriously called that many times in one day, something is very very wrong and you probably shouldnt let that shit slide!

Ah, don't get me started with bill collectors, I currently have one I want to climb down the phone line and throttle. They actually offered me a good deal, problem was that I work as a courier, so ifn you get me in the middle of the day, I'm a wee bit distracted (I'm likely going down the freeway at 70), and I don't have my check book (actually don't have one period). Simple request, call me on Saturday, the day after payday, and the day I know how much money my van is going to eat (no van, no job, no money to pay anyone back). They called three times on Friday, and one on Sunday, and never on Saturday, and these guys want me to trust them that they'll knock 55% off of my $11,000 debt, bringing it down to $4250 (hmmm, what's wrong with that math? ), no interest, and if I need to post date a check, they'll be happy to honor that. Oh, and should I mentioned that they're either Calvary Portfolio Services or Capitol Management? They can't seem to remember which.

Don't ever trust anyone to honor a post-dated check. Such an agreement is totally unenforcable, and you're the only one to get screwed if they go ahead and cash it early. Banks don't care what is on that date line, and will try to cash it as soon as it is submitted to the system.
