Well again, sure, it was a VERY annoying situation for all involved. I really did feel for her...if it truly was an accident. I don't think it was and regardless of the case, what am I supposed to do?! "Yes ma'am, we're opening this wormhole to another dimension for you where you can enjoy your old account. We're good like that! Think of it like we Ctrl-Z'd the situation for you. Have fun in Erf, third planet from the Sohn!"

I love that Becky, I don't know if you said it first but that is going in my sig.
      Thanks for siging me.

I no longer remember if I was the first person on the board to say it, but I am the one that made it popular.

        Why not rent a car?

I can think of some very important reasons to need an automobile, and on short notice. But if you really need it that badly, bad enough to offer extra money to have it looked at, you need to be calling Avis, not harassing the mechanics at the local repair shop.
Even coming in explaining why it's an emergency and asking for some help, then leaving the mechanics a large tip might have worked as a starting strategy, it might in my shop, anyway. I can understand emergencies.
But once you establish yourself as SC you're on your own.
