What is is with SCs and other rude folks saying "It's OK" to justify their bahavior after you've objected?

It's just so arrogant of them to declare that they are the arbiter of what's OK on someone else's property. And then they get all indignant when you politely inform them that it really isn't OK.

We dont sell the cigarettes but we do sell American Spirits in a can for the roll your own people.
We have had a few dozen asking for American Spirits cigarettes but the boss doesnt seem to want to carry them.

I went into a grocery store that sold cigs one time. I was out of American spirit and there was no tobacco store nearby. I asked the guy at the counter for them, he looked at me for a second, then looked for them. He said he couldn't find any, but that he had USA gold. I'm like WTF? Not what I asked for.

When I got home, I happened to look in the mirror and realized what the issue was. I had asked for AMERICAN Spirit and was wearing a USA rocks T-shirt. I guess he assumed I was trying to be patriotic, while feeding the addiction.

Actually, it appears that most of the badmouthing of clove cigarettes is urban myth. They're about just as bad as any other type of cigarette for much the same reasons.

They recently changed the design on Camels. My coworker smoked them for years. When the new packs came out he insisted they changed the cigarette too. I told him it was all in his head. Well the Camel rep was in and my boss and coworker asked her and she said yes they did change the blend on them.

I couldnt smoke Camels before because they had a metal taste to me, the new packs dont seem to have that taste.

Unfortunately the blend doesn't seem to be impressing too many people at my work. I've had seven of our regular Camel buyers switch brands after the change.
